SONscreen Denver Showcase Rocked!
 The SONscreen Showcase in Denver, CO at the Society of Adventist Communicators conference was outstanding!  There were 46 people in attendance at the Thursday night screening from all over the nation and the world including as far as Mexico and India.  Students and professionals alike loved the screenings showcasing the winning works from the 2008 Film Festival.  SONscreen Film Festival Alumni past winners Timothy Wolfer (2008 Comedy Winner) and Aric Turlington (2007 Highschool Winner) were also in attendance.

Description : Seeking an adjunct instructor to teach an upper-level course, MDIA403, Advanced Video Production, for the spring 2009 semester.  Students already have two previous courses in media production, comprising a foundation in
applied media aesthetics, video production using Final Cut Pro, and experience in producing short, collaboratively made documentary films. Course is taught in the department's Media Lab.  MFA and teaching experience preferred but applicants with commensurate experience in video filmmaking may also be considered.

UCAA Vervent Worship Conference Features Film:
Blind Tom Wiggins
November 13, Nashville  TN

The upcoming FREE Film Screening at UCAA in Nashville, TN will be Thursday, November 13 @ 7 pm. Featuring the film: Blind Tom Wiggins, The Last Legal Slave in America
.
NPR did a feature story on this outstanding musician a few years ago.
Andre Regan produced the
40 minute documentary which was recently screened at a Juneteenth event in Atlanta, GA. Regan will be in attendance for Q&A following the screening.
It's an interesting story and thoroughly enjoyable film.
